Who We Are
Hello friends! My name is Adam Castle & I started Green Man Gardening in 2024 to share the joys & benefits of home gardening with my community. Based in Kalamazoo, I've managed a local community garden since 2019 & became a certified Michigan State University Extension Master Gardener in 2023. I'm currently in the process of obtaining my Permaculture Design Certification from Oregon State University, to be completed in Summer 2025. Most recently, I became part of the rapidly growing national foodscaping network. In short, this is my passion, and I'm excited to share it with you.
I believe that home gardening is more than a timeless tradition - it is an invaluable investment in the health & resilience of your household. Increased food security and improved physical, mental, and emotional health are just some of the benefits of gardening.
